Before & after
What we start with. What you get.
Cracked, stained, salt-bitten concrete goes in. A sealed, seamless, showroom floor comes out — with the crack repair and pitting fixed underneath it, not painted over. One day, start to finish.
What you get
A full system, not a coat of paint
Every Ironclad floor is the same four-layer build: ground slab, repaired defects, pigmented base, flake to refusal, polyaspartic seal. There is no cheaper version of this — there is only this.
Diamond-ground prep
We mechanically grind the slab with diamond tooling to open the concrete — no acid etching, no shortcuts. This is the step that decides whether a floor lasts ten years or peels in two.
Full flake broadcast
Vinyl flake is broadcast to full refusal across the whole slab, then scraped and vacuumed back to a consistent, uniform texture — not a light scatter over a thin base coat.
Polyaspartic topcoat
A UV-stable polyaspartic clear coat seals the flake. It will not yellow in sunlight, and it cures fast enough to hand the garage back the same day.
Hot-tire resistant
Hot tires lift cheap roll-on epoxy right off the slab. A ground, bonded, polyaspartic-sealed system is built to take the heat off a summer drive with no lifting.
Salt & freeze-thaw proof
Ontario road salt, slush and winter melt sit on your slab five months a year. A sealed floor stops the brine reaching the concrete, so it cannot spall from the inside out.
Easy to clean
Non-porous, seamless and with no grout lines to trap grit. Oil, antifreeze and road grime wipe off; the whole floor takes about five minutes with a hose or a mop.
Why polyaspartic
Built for a Toronto winter
Standard epoxy needs warmth to cure. Below roughly 10 °C it thickens, stalls and cures soft — which is why most garage floor companies here stop taking work in November.
Polyaspartic doesn't. It cures chemically at low temperature, so we install year-round — including January, in a closed and heated garage. It is also substantially harder, more abrasion-resistant and UV-stable, so it takes hot tires, shovel scrapes and road salt without lifting, chalking or yellowing.
- CuresIn hours, not days — even in cold weather
- HardnessFar tougher than standard roll-on epoxy
- UVWill not yellow in direct sunlight
- SeasonInstallable 12 months a year in the GTA

FAQ
Straight answers
How long does it take?
One day for a standard one to three-car garage. We grind in the morning, broadcast flake and topcoat in the afternoon, and you walk on it that evening. Very large, badly damaged or multi-bay slabs occasionally need a second day — if yours does, we tell you at the quote, not on the day.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on square footage, slab condition and the finish you choose, so we quote on site rather than over the phone. Expect a single-car garage to sit at the lower end and a three-car with significant crack and pit repair at the higher end. The on-site quote is free, itemised and fixed — repairs are priced before we start, never added after.
Will it peel?
Peeling is a prep failure, not a product failure. Roll-on kits and acid-etched floors peel because nothing mechanically bonds to a sealed slab. We diamond-grind the concrete to open the pore structure so the base coat locks in, and we back that with a 10-year written warranty against peeling and delamination.
Can you install in winter?
Yes. Polyaspartic cures in temperatures where standard epoxy simply stalls, which is why we install year-round in Toronto. In deep winter we work in a closed garage and use portable heat to hold the slab in range — a January install is routine for us, not an exception.
How long before I can park on it?
Walk on it the same evening, roughly 6 to 8 hours after the topcoat. Park on it after 24 to 48 hours depending on temperature. We give you the exact times for your install before we leave, and we would rather you wait the extra day than mark a fresh floor.
Do you move my stuff?
The garage needs to be completely empty for us to grind and coat wall to wall. We will help shift shelving, cabinets and heavy items out to the driveway and back in at the end of the day at no charge — just let us know at the quote so we bring the right crew.
What's the warranty?
A 10-year written warranty covering peeling, delamination, blistering and hot-tire pickup, issued in your name on completion. It is a document you keep, not a verbal promise — and it is transferable if you sell the house.
Do you service my city?
We cover Toronto and the whole GTA — Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Oakville, Burlington, Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Oshawa, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, Newmarket, Aurora, Milton and Hamilton. If you are just outside that list, call us; we often travel a little further for two or more garages on the same street.
